Children’s Home Society of Virginia– $5,000 for finding home for children and children for homes

Childsavers– $100,000 for transitioning to Electronic Health Records

Church Hill Activities & Tutoring– $500,000 for the Young Entrepreneurs of Richmond project

Community Idea Stations– $20,000 for support for Virginia Currents 

Elizabeth Kates Foundation– $29,000 for educational opportunities for incarcerated women

FeedMore- $50,000 for capacity building and regional expansion

Greater Richmond Fit4Kids – $5,000 for case support

Greater Richmond Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) – $50,000 to expand the CASA program

Henley Street Theatre – $8,000 for consultants, focus groups and branding study

Marine Corp Heritage Foundation– $5,000 for the continued building of the Museum of the Marines

Marine Military Academy– $5,000 for scholarships

Oldham County Historical Society– $10,000 for the continued development of the veteran program

Partnership for Families Northside – $10,000 for coaching funding

Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence– $50,000 for operating support and matching gift challenge

Peter Paul Development Center– $50,000 to acquire and merge Richmond Promise Neighborhoods

Richmond Chamber Players– $5,000 for the 2013 Interlude Series

Richmond Regional Planning District Commission– $75,000 to launch regional Indicators Project

Southeastern Council of Foundations – $5,000 for the Inaugural Advanced Leadership Institute Program

The Buddy Program– $5,000 for youth mentoring

The Richmond Symphony– $20,000 for support of the Youth Orchestra

Theatre Aspen– $25,000 for educational programs

University of the Cumberlands– $5,000 for scholarships 

Valentine History Center– $50,000 for programming, Community Conversations and Convening. 

Virginia Audubon Council- $5,000 for capacity building, development and fundraising

Vital Communities– $55,000 for general operating support 

Each year, each member of our board of directors is given the opportunity to sponsor a limited number of grants to organizations that they consider particularly deserving of support.  These recommendations are strictly at the discretion of individual board members.  Organizations may not solicit board members for these funds.
